Urgently refer a baby with any of the following symptoms:
- Any blood in their faeces
- Their sick is green/yellow/contains blood or they keep being sick and aren't keeping anything down
- Refusing to feed
- Fever
- Swollen or tender stomach
- Won't stop crying, the cry is weak, high-pitched or different to usual, or the baby is very distressed.
